I had a car accident without auto insurance?

I had a car accident last june 2008 without any car insurance. They billed me 3500$ ticket that's for other car got fixed. I didn't pay off until today Now it's 14800$. What should I do? I am a n international student Not American citizen… Thanks a lot

You chose to drive without insurance and now they are asking for you to pay for the damage you caused. That's what happens when you don't follow the rules. They will sue you next and win and part of your pay check will go to pay the debt. …………You have no leg to stand on… Pay up you owe the money………….md

I own a company that handles claims against uninsured drivers. I can only assume that $3500 is for car damages and the balance is for injuries and/or medical bills. You have the right to get copies of the documentation proving their claim.

You're up poop creek without a paddle buckaroo. Next thing that will happen is you will be sued, so you can now tack on legal fees to the $14,800. So I would recommend you contact the insurer and try and work out some sort of payment plan and get a job.
