Does anyone know where I can buy affordable motorcycle insurance online?
I prefer one that will provide same day proof of coverage. My hubby was stopped on Friday after work and we need this as soon as possible. Thanks!!
I guess I should have provided more info… In no way are we trying to scam anyone. He finally finished repairs (lower end and chain) on Wed. and yes he rode it two days w/o ins. I made the mistake of not getting it sooner…and all we wanted was to get the temp. ID card so we could get the bike out of impound before the rate got out of hand.

He will still need to go to court and show the judge he now have insurance and will continue having insurance. The cheapest I have found have been http://www.progressive.com

He’s probably been given a ‘7 day ticket’ or a ‘producer’, requiring him to take his documents to a police station. The producer will have the time and date of the stop and they’ll check this against the date on the insurance certificate he shows them.
IMO riding without insurance is totally irresponsible and he’ll get what he deserves. If this is his first offence he’ll get 6 to 8 points and a fine otherwise it will be an immediate ban.

I pay 75 dollars a YEAR, for just me on my 150cc scooter, for the minimum amount of insurance required by law in Texas.
You can get same day proof of coverage by printing out a temporary card from their website. It will say 'temporary' on it in grey letters in the background.
