how much will having a body kit on a car raise your car insurance for a 17year old?

automotive, insurance

It is highly unlikely that it will cost you anything.

If you want to make sure you should check http://tendealsaday.com/a.php?a=CD15393&b=22606&d=0&l=0&o=&p=0&c=4119&s1=yhans

It's a free insurance quote that compares different insurance companies to get the best rate.

They will ask questions to give you a quote on the cheapest insurance. I highly doubt anyone will ask you if the car has a body kit and if they do you will be able to find out how much it will cost extra.

Can't hurt to check it out. :)

will the first insurance company pay no claim bonus to the second insurance company on first renewal?

In automotive insurence renewal, if costumer changes insurance company and has no claims, will the first insurance company pay no claim bonus amount to the second insurance company on first renewal by costumer? which second insurance company gives that as discount to the costumer.

If you are eligible for any "no claims" bonus, it is always paid directly to the named policy holder(s) and to no one else as that is the legal scope and definition of policy ownership. However, you need to consult your policy and/or agent regarding the 1st insurance company prior to leaving as sometimes, it may not pay you once you have left as per the terms of the bonus agreement outlined within the plan's program as not all companies (majority whole) do not offer such programs

As to no prior claims, many "2nd" companies reduce the amount of policy term premium as your "bonus" and take that into account upon each renewal cycle if you continue to remain accident, driving record, and claim free

School for Finance & Insurance for the Automotive Industry…?

Hey guys I've been thinking about going back to the car business, and I'm looking forward to it. I'm thinking about internet sales and I've been looking around online and saw some "colleges" for Finance and Insurance. I saw some testimonials on some of the websites that specify them getting hired as a finance manager with little or no experience. Now my question is how much of this is true or is this another false, over exaggerated claim that a lot of businesses do to attract more customers. I have sales experience with a car dealership before and I just left because I couldn’t handle the hours and the ripping people off mindset. I guess you can say I have a conscience. But now I am ready to go back not to rip people off “as much” LOL. But I guess to see how far I can go in this business because when I left the car industry I believe I left pre maturely. Anyway, I’m looking forward to answers from people that actually know what I’m talking about. That means no stupid answers. Thank you

If you really want to make an impact on your resume, there are a few ways you can go about doing it. One would be to take a course offered by the Association of Finance and Insurance Professionals (AFIP). They are the only F&I certification sanctioned by NADA and recommended by NIADA. They have certified over 15,000 people worldwide, and their certification is required by Saturn. They also have an ethics module that puts the ball in your court as far as how you handle customer transactions. This takes the pressure off of the dealership and holds you accountable for your actions within the industry. When you test with them you get a nameplate and a diploma, as well as a certificate of affirmation that you can include in your resume. Good luck and just call the number on their website, they are extremely helpful.

How can I sue an automotive insurance company?

Friday a guy hit me from behind at a red light. we called the police. they asked us to move about 25 feet out of the road so they could get traffic moving. when i moved it, my tie rod in the front broke. the cop put it down on the report as his fault and my car not drivable. but now his insurance company will not pay. they say that it the wreck did not cause this. even though it was fine before the wreck. not only that they want me to pay for the towing and lot storage fee. the police called the tow and they new about this since friday , they just waited the weekend and memorial day until they could get an adjuster out to look at it. it is easy to me guy hit me car no longer works. I need help, how can i sue them, any help would be apriciated..

OK, first off you can't sue the insurance company. You HAVE to sue the other driver. If you name the insurance company in the lawsuit paperwork the court/judge will toss the lawsuit out and you get to start all over.

Secondly, don't go into court thinking that just because the tie rod broke at the scene of the accident that you will win on that issue easily. I attend small claims court hearings a lot and it amazes me how many people go in unprepared. You will need to have a repair shop write up an estimate for repairs and they will need to include their professional opinion that the tie rod breaking was accident related. It's hard for me to believe that a tie rod breaking is related to a rear-end impact, but I haven't seen your car.

If you have collision coverage of your own, I suggest that you try them first. They may be easier to deal with than the other guys company.

As the owner of the vehicle you have a legal duty to pay the tow/storage fees. You should get reimbursed for them from one of the insurance companies. You also have a duty to mitigate (lessen) your damages by getting the car out of the storage lot. So don't let it sit there very long or you will get stuck with a huge bill and the insurance company won't owe the whole thing.

Good Luck

Question on Automotive insurance fraud?

Unfortunately I have committed what is known as insurance fraud, My friends and I set my car on fire and a case was opened for possible insurance fraud, the detectives already closed their case and the insurance company believes it was stolen but I dont want to live with this for the rest of my life so I want to turn myself in. The question I am asking here is what kind of consequences am I looking at if I turn myself in? I have no previous records and the insurance claim has not been completed yet, the vehicle was worth around $7k, I wasn't even aware we had insurance on the vehicle as it was garaged for 3 months, I blew it up so that my dad would let me use my money to buy another car, I couldn't sell it because it had over 4k in mechanical problems, now that I'm looking at insurance fraud I don't want to face a felony so what can I do?
well although I didn't know there was insurance on the car befrore I blew it up my dad filed the insurance claim when I told him it was stolen, also I haven't recieved any kind of money for the car yet, I'm supposed to go with my dad and sign papers saying it was stolen in 2 weeks

Are you under 18? Discuss it first with your father, he should get you a good attorney who will make arrangements for you to turn yourself in. Hopefully when it's all over with, and you have returned the money to the insurance, you will just have some time to spend on probation.

But only an attorney will be able to keep felony charges off you.

Automotive insurance repair done by insurance contracted mobile repair company.?

My Expedition was broken into and I filed a claim with my insurance company ( AAA). They have a mobile repair company that they "recommend" to do the repairs. My dash had a minor scratch on it and the initial claim adjuster told me that it would be fixed with scratch repair paint which was fine with me. Well I scheduled a day for them to repair it and after all the work was said and done, I noticed that the dash had been carved with a razor blade in order for the ashtray to be able to close all the way. When I noticed this I was furious. I called the company the next day and told them I was unhappy with their service and wanted the repair done right . I also told them that I did not want them to do the repair and would be getting estimates from other companies to do the work, which I expect them to pay for. They are only offering to redo the work or give me a $100 cosmetic damage check. Do i have a good enough case for small claims court? Insurance company has paid the claim.

Did you ask the company that came out what they were going to do to repair the vehicle? I don't think it matters what the claims adjuster told you he thought would be done – he wasn't the one doing the repair job himself.

You also had to sign a repair order for them to get started – what did it say?

I think you'd better have them redo the work.

Small claims court – depends on whether you have a good judge or not.

how will raising the driving age to 18 affect the automotive manufators, auto insurance comp., & gas companies

Im writing a research paper on raising th driving age and im in need of some help with these topics. Please give alot of information , i have 2 more pages to write about these.

Insurance companies would lose that big check from parents sending in money so the kids can drive.
Manufacturers? I dont think it would affect them alot, since most 16-17 year olds drive used cars, not new ones. Only a idiot would buy a 16 year old a brand new car.
Gas companies? Well, teens do alot of cruising, but in the long run i dont think they would notice much.
Put it this way, if the driving age was raised to 18, alot of parents would just have to drive kids all over hell and back for 2 more years.
I dont think the age needs to be raised, but i do think further restrictions need to be put in place.

I would like socialized automotive insurance and downtown parking…can I get an amen from the dems?

I've been paying into auto insurance forever now, and I've never got anything except rate hikes. My government mandates that I have drivers insurance, and it's very expensive…in fact, I think it prevents the poor from driving legally.

Also, the cost of parking is very expensive too. Can we socialize parking, so that citizens can park downtown and not be charged additional fees. We don't want to make a poor family of 5 driving a Yugo choose between eating that day, or parking, do we?

Sign me up too!!

I'm also tired of paying such a large portion of my income toward my mortgage. Could mortgages be socialized too?
