   there is no one best for everyone in insurance. the best way to find whats best for you is to call an independent agent in your area and have them do the searching for you. its easy and its free. if you can place your home with the same company you have your auto with, this will give you a discount on the policies, so that's another place to look.

   I agree with the previous answerer, because each state has different perils that concern insurance carriers, so each major carrier is varies from state to state.
