   ondreforsure, Home insurance covers lots of different things. I'm not familiar with the California regulations, so I recommend you call a local homeowners insurance agent. http://www.americaschoicetoday.com/Home-Insurance.html They should be able to assist you.

   How about, the California Insurance Department Website? That will have all the carriers licensed to do business in CA.

   You'll also have to define "large" – is it the most policies written, or the most premium dollars written, or the most reserves, or the most claims filed??

   Some of the big carriers are in every state. Allstate, Auto Club, Farmers, State Farm, and there are others.
